There are 4 disciplines for the professionals and Formation Skydiving for the amateurs as well as a NeoFreestyle category for the 7-16 year olds. Multiple categories can be entered. All open class prizes are listed in Singapore dollars and amateur class prizes in hours of  off-peak tunnel time at iFly Singapore.

4-way Formation Skydiving

4-way Formation Skydiving consists of four team members flying in a horizontal position.

The objective is to complete a series of formations as many times as possible in 35 seconds.

To enter the amateur category at least 2 of the 4 team members must not have competed in a national or international (open class) competition before.**

4-way VFS

(Vertical Formation Skydiving)

4-way Vertical Formation Skydiving consists of four team members flying in a vertical position.

The participants are given specific formations to perform in a set order. The objective is to complete the routine as many times as possible in 35 seconds.

2-way Freefly*

2-way Freefly consists of two team members using all flying orientations. The participants will perform a self-choreographed routine. Judges will look out for elements that make the routine stand out.

NeoFreeStyle

NeoFreeStyle consists of one solo flyer flying in both vertical and horizontal positions. Participant will perform a self-choreographed routine. Judges will look out for elements that make the routine stand out. This is a new discipline in the competition.

** To qualify for the amateur category a participating team must not have more than 50% of its team members who have participated in a national or international competition or represented their country before for any indoor skydiving or actual skydiving competitions. The competition shall be of the same discipline. For the discipline of 4 way Formation Skydiving (FS), the representation shall include both 4 way FS and 8 way FS.

The organiser of the competition has its sole discretion to decide any team’s eligibility to participate in the competition, including but not limited to, eligibility to join the competition, eligibility to be in the professional or amateur category, even though the team have registered and paid. In the event the organiser decided that the team does not qualify for the competition or any particular category, the organiser shall send a letter to inform the team and issue a refund for the registration fee minus 10% administrative cost.
